Hi all.
So since my last campaign didn't really work out I decided to pick another offer and just keep trying. Launch, launch and launch some more, right!
I'm gonna try to keep this thread updated daily, although I'm pretty busy so I might miss a day sometimes.
Traffic source: Decisive
Vertical: Mobile Subscription: 1-Click flow
Offer: Phone Cleaner (Cleaner Master), Payout: $1.45,-
Geo: Colombia
I'm gonna be following the appetizer approach closely this time. I've pulled some ads from WhatRunsWhere and modified them a bit. I've got two ads in English and the rest of the ads are in Spanish.

I've created four campaigns: app/cell, app/wifi, site/cell and site/wifi.
I also have a question. On the offer in my AN it says: "Conversion Point: One Click Flow on 3G & PIN submit on Wi-Fi".
Does this mean that if they click on the offer while on a 3G network, it works easier (because they don't have to do the PIN submit)? So wouldn't it be harder to convert via Wi-Fi, because it would take a bit long to convert them since they'd have to submit their number? I feel like this would make a pretty big difference.
Not a very good day. I have about $20,- spend and not a single conversion. While my last campaigns with APUS launcher didn't go that well, I still got some conversions pretty early on. Makes me wonder if there's something wrong or if it's just not really working out...

I've noticed some apps were taking a lot of wins with little clicks so I blacklisted them (Grindr mostly). I'm not going to change the creatives for now.
Also, both the site campaigns aren't getting that much traffic, should I up the bids?
And if someone could answer the question in the first thread that would be very much appreciated!
I'd recommend keeping going with the testing. It's also very important to blacklist placements that are spending money and not getting conversions, regardless of how many clicks they're getting.
Some of your campaigns may turn out unsuccessful, but it might be that one combination or even one placement starts working really well after you've gotten a decent amount of data.
As for your question about one click flow vs PIN submit - test, test, test! Some PIN submits convert like wildfire, and the chances are that wifi traffic will be cheaper, so you need to test to know for sure.
Thank you for the reply, Caurmen!
I've not given up on this campaign yet. I've un-paused the Phone Cleaner campaign after blacklisting some sites that spent way too much without any conversions (and not that many clicks either).
I'm gonna keep gathering some data and I'll try to make it work!
I'm going to relaunch my APUS Launcher campaign and try to optimize it with the data I've gathered from the few days I had that campaigns running! It did look kind of promising so I'm just going to keep trying and testing. It is also an offer that's proven to work so that shouldn't be an issue.
I've had a busy day so I wasn't able to change anything about the campaign. Still no conversions though...
Anyway, here are the stats.

There's a pretty low spend so I'm just gonna keep it running like this for tomorrow as well. I'll try to look into the campaign more when I get the time.
For now I'm not really changing anything. None of the ads are really standing out, they all have pretty equal clicks so I'm not going to change anything.
So here are the stats for the whole campaign.

One conversions, hooray..!
Well, I've decided to pause both the campaigns that have over 15$ spent, even though one of those campaigns is the only one with a conversion.
I noticed that with the site campaigns "nonpageurlspecified" has pretty much 90% of the bids and wins. This means I can't really try to optimize by blacklisting sites.
The creatives are all still getting equal clicks so I don't really know what I can change about that.
I'm going to keep running the two campaigns below 15$ spent but I'm not that confident about them.
