High CTR, ZERO Conversion! HELP!!!
Hi All!
Offer: UC Browser (India)
Traffic Source: Airpush
Ad Type: Overlay
CTR: I've been receiving around 12% CTR (totalling around 5000 over clicks!)
Conversion: ZERO!!!
I've tested the conversion flow using my own mobile with HMA. The conversion is recorded when I ran the browser.
What could be wrong?
Any help would be great.
Thanks!

Did you check the stats on the network as well? sometimes the tracker will miss out on conversions if the postback isn't set up correctly
Also ask your AM about the offer, they may be having problems firing the conversion

12% CTR sounds like a lot.. Did you check for bots?
I believe UC browser has about 50% market share in india so some might already have the app. Perhaps they had other expectations when clicking?

would recommend a look at this, had a similar issue myself last week with BR traffic, high CTRs could be a sign :

that's not a high CTR for overlay ads...and many of them are accidental clicks.
Try a different ad format

I tested the conversion flow on my end and it worked, so I doubt it's the network issue..

Airpush allows us to exclude users who already have the app installed so I don't think market share is the issue, provided that function of exclusion works.

Thanks, I've no idea what's a good CTR for overlay ads. I usually run in-app and push ads so when I saw 12% CTR I thought it was high enough to get some good conversions.
