Specified wrong traffic source in voluum -- did this affect conversion tracking?
I made a silly mistake and specified the wrong traffic source in Voluum when configuring my latest campaign. Because the tokens didn't match, the tracking information wasn't passed to Voluum properly. I know, I know, I should be testing click flow every time... somebody slap me on the wrist.
My main question is whether this would have affected conversion tracking? The campaign didn't show any conversions at the traffic source, so I'm wondering whether this is genuine, or whether it's because selecting the wrong traffic source in voluum disrupted conversion tracking. My guess is that it would affect conversion tracking, because the external IDs for the two traffic sources don't match in voluum. Can anyone confirm this for me?

There should be no conversions at your traffic source, because Voluum "didn't know" the correct postback URL.

And does that mean the network couldn't track my conversions either?

Although the traffic source is wrong it should still redirect to the link you put in the offer. That being said, if the link contains your affiliate id, the affiliate network should see your conversions without a problem.
Just checked vouum. If i understand it correctly, everything should still work ok even if the traffic source is still wrong, the only difference is that you wont have on
Voluum the variables that traffic source gives to you (appid, domain, cpc...). The passing of the clickid to the offer subid should still be ok. Can anybody confirm?
