PPV on 50onRed question.

hi,
as the title says i have a campaign on 50onRed for auto insurance.
i put as targets many keywords of auto insurance companies like

Code:
quotes.libertymutual.com
motor.confused.com
I have like 100 targets and no traffic.
what i'm doing wrong?
thanks

Try putting it as domain, instead of keywords.

i'd better choose domain targets which has less than 100k alexa rank.

Yeah. Put root domains that have less Alexa Rank. Subdomain usually provides low traffic.

Use the keyword "auto insurance" (yes you will pay top dollar for it), track the {domain} variable and you will get loads of good targets that people are hitting on 50oR. Then add those domains in!

Quick way of finding the domains that people are actually hitting on the network.

Like others mentioned above, long tails will give you a lot less traffic.

As menstioned you will get a lot less traffic on long tails, and that is mainly due to others targetting the root.

ie. you target geico.com/state/ca/los-angeles/ @ 0.01
I target geico.com @ 0.05
who do you think is going to get all the traffic !

i understand that, but the thing is that on targets with bid bigger then 0.05 and i bid 0.01 i get also traffic, but less. so i taught more targets less $ spend and a little bit more traffic. but is wrong

just do what ploppy said above.. and find the domains that are useful from a high traffic, totally targeted keyword.

Quick tip, to remove crappy traffic from the test.. just blaclist youtube/facebook/wikipedo etc.. and any other big traffic sites that might refer you rubbish.

Although depends on your niche.. you might want that traffic!
