No Design Experience

Hey guys,

I have no experience in design but willing to learn.

Do you think it's possible/better to outsource my design work and focus on other things in the beginning or should I spend the time and learn photoshop and/or dreamweaver?

I am assuming it's got to be very beneficial to be able to tweak and play with your designs as you please? Is just photoshop enough?

Thanks, appreciate any advice!

Nick

You can outsource, but it never hurts to have as many skills under your belt as possible.

You'll need to be able to both create graphics (Photoshop) and Web pages (Dreamweaver, Muse, Pinegrow).

As cmdeal says, I'd recommend learning at least the basics yourself. Apart from anything else, it's harder to hire for skills that you don't have basic knowledge in.

If we are considering only the efficiency of producing good responsive landers, which one is better? Dreamweaver or Pinegrow? Any advantage to use Dreamweaver just because it is also from Adobe family? Pinegrow seems easier to use.
