Facebook the next big traffic source for Pay Per Call?
Facebook has been emerging very quickly as a big traffic source in pay per call, and I am starting to feel like this could be as big or bigger than search within the next 6 months. There is huge volume, and getting the call to action from a landing page is proving easier and easier by the day.
I would love to put together a case study, but I obviously don't run traffic so that makes it a little difficult. I have a bunch of great ideas, and can provide a lot of resources to make testing easier.
Anyone one here with Facebook experience interested in partnering on a basic case study, or possibly a webinar? If so, let me know jon@ringpartner.com.

Would like to know too. I'm not very experienced with Facebook myself but I' will do if Jon can give me some pointers. I have already a Facebook account, a RingPartner account and a test budget
Best.

Here's a good summary:

Just like AdWords, as long as you're not misleading users, then you'll be good to go. There are some verticals on Facebook that are a no-no for advertising (adult dating). But, most pay-per-call offers from a network like RingPartner are already clean enough for Facebook.
Here's Facebook's guidance:

I ran Teespring-Facebook campaigns last year with some success and the big difference with Facebook was the feedback. People are able to comment and actively engage with your ads - unlike other display networks where they just ignore you. So, if the ads suck or are annoying, then you can get a lot of negative feedback. That's when your account becomes a target.
So, I would say run some display ads on Google or other display networks to get angles dialed in. The good thing with that approach is that you can take the targeting and placement data from your display networks and use it to inform your Facebook campaigns. That's money.

This is all great info, thanks for sharing!
Yes, we have no had any real issues with Facebook, and with no affiliate links it's about as clean as it gets. The only issues I have heard of are vertical specific (Adult Dating, etc), but nothing to do with it being pay per call.
