[LONDON] 1st Day Pre-Speeches "Don't know anybody" Meetup
I was thinking it would be nice to arrange a "Pre-Speeches Meetup" on the first day.
So if you don't know anybody you can at least meet some people in the same boat before the speeches and the party in the evening.
How about we meetup at the main hotel (Club Quarters at Trafalgar Square) foyer or bar between 5pm-6pm and go to the STM & Decisive pre-drinks from 6pm-7pm then the speeches?

I don't know anyone either so this is a great idea. I'll meet you guys too. If there's the stm&decisive pre-drinks we'll also be sure there will only be STM members and avoid awkward talking to random people that might be at the hodel for something else lol. I'm still not decided if to stay for 2 or 3 days though...

I've not been living in London for the past year so I'm trying to find some temporary accommodation for the meetup - is there a 'second' hotel anyone recommends?
The recommended hotel has no more availability for the 9th.
I may find something out in zone 2 or 3 for a couple weeks afterwards, as I have some errands to do in my hometown, but wanted to be close for the event.
Anyone here going to be in London few days early and keen to meetup PM me. I'll be in London from the 5th, mainly to get over jetlag and the time difference. Was at last year BKK meetup, Shenzhen meetup, and Vegas meetup.

Staying in different hotel right at the edge of 1st zone
I tried booking the nights of 9th and 10th but the 9th was no longer available.
I might just book the 10th, as I'll be in London for a couple of weeks (not central), but if there's an alternate hotel I may as well stay there for the 2x nights.
