Need some guidance on setting up and tracking Google Adwords campaign

How's it going. I need a consultant who can help me understand setting up, testing, and tracking for Google Adwords campaign. However, I'm not promoting Affiliate Products here, I'm promoting a Doctor's office that I work for. Our doctor's our specialists, so I have some keywords in mind that would be perfect.

Is there anyone that could speak to me on Skype or forward me a guide to proper keyword research, Adwords testing, how I would track phone call leads from people who clicked through on Google, etc. If not, then can you point me to a guide that breaks it down? I have experience with POF affiliate campaigns using POFpro as my Tracking Platform - but that's quite different than the keyword research needed for Adwords, and the interface in general.

This is a little different than standard Affiliate Marketing because I'm working for the company that I'm promoting, but the benefit is I know for sure that the offer will "convert" lol.

Hi Tim - I have found that WordStream provides TONS of quality guides, blog posts, white papers all focused on PPC. I would start here: http://www.wordstream.com/learn/ppc101. Also feel free to add me on skype - jacquiek74 I'm happy to help.

You can use Google's forwarding numbers to track calls, but they are only used intermittently until you have a decent amount of traffic.

Definitely use call extensions and set up the on page call tracking.

But, I would recommend a 3rd party tracking system and set an agreement with your advertiser on which numbers you'll be basing your invoices from.

Check out CallFire, ifbyphone, CallRail, etc. There are quite a few options for tracking.

Cheers,
-Mike
