Sending PM..
Just a side note, SMS traffic is quite risky if you're buying numbers from random lists.
Are you using a landing page?
Hey stackman,
Thanks for replying.
Naah, Using SMS opt-in lists. And Im direct linking. The problem is we don't get that huge list to really scale it up big numbers.
What do you suggest, which traffic source should I delve into to scale it?
You are sending them to the advertisers www site right ? US geo ?
There is a problem with sending sms traffic to the www site. The sms will get delivered if user has internet acess or not, while he can only acess the site if he has internet acess. So you are losing a part of users that dont have internet enabled on their phones. I have no idea about the %. If US visitors I guess that can be a small % if from other geos it could be higher.
To tackle this you could include a double offer in the sms. - link to the advertiser site + a payper call number for those that prefer to call and not visit the lp.
Since you can include each users msisdn in the outbound link to the advertisers page (or mask it wiht some internal tracking id) you could also blast the users wiht lps on day1 , then on day3 blast the users that didnt complete the leadgen www offer with a direct call offer.
As for the traffic source expansion. There are no "white" sources of msisdn numbers that I know of and I'd be very very wary of purchasing lists from unknown sources.
The only viable option I see is a complimentary campaing for leadgen, that has a really simple user flow - eg fb leadgen campaing with strict demo targeting.
For the payday loan promotion per se , I have no idea which traffic sources work - I've never done them. If you can get them goog / fb approved I guess that's your best bet.
Yes Im doing to advertisers site and US geo only. Yes have been doing 2 way already by bundling with pay per call.
Yes, I guess facebook/google would be best bet for it if i can get ads approved.
What your thought about bing ads for this?
