SMS to 'Payday loan' leads

Guys, i could be in the wrong place but hoping some one could advise.

Was reading about this, but when i tried to interogate the source they would not provide me much help in actually implementing this.

So im here, to see if you guys do this ?

Basically, buy 'payday loan' leads off brokers and people on Linkedin. Buy big bulks of leads for cheap.

Then plug the phone numbers into some kind of 'tool' that sends messages ( i dont know what tool )

and use Twilio for something ( i dont know what)

Send the reciever of message to offers you promote from Diablo/yosto

then bank.

Anyone know this method? if so, could some one break it down and explain in more detail especially the tools needed to send messages and what exactly Twilio does.

Im sure some guy here are doing this,

Thanks everyone

Not sure which jurisdiction you are operating in, but in the UK, this can land you in a lot of legal problems unless these people explicitly requested to be contacted via SMS for payday loan offer ...

Im led to believe the leads have the understanding they will get at least one text per week, as per the form they have previously filled.

I remember speaking to one of the owners of a big payday offer network who claimed that db's of existing lenders from other companies don't convert that well.. go figure. You'd use Twilios numbers for sending the sms spam basically.

Yea, but these texts would come from a familiar payday loan company. I guess you could spam premium numbers with a text saying that they owe $xxx to ABC PaydayLoan and that in order to extend their $$ deadlines they better send a text IAMGETTINGSCAMMEDHARD to 911 or whatever the premium# is. Oh and just fyi this would be illegal.. lol, just saying.. I remember some kids from Scandinavia doing this and it made it to the news a few years ago.
