Optimization Question
Hi guys/girls,
I have a question about optimization. Do you guys optimize down to OS Version? I ask because it seems as though conversions are pretty constant with particular OS versions.
I am using a large mobile DSP that will allow me to target by OS version for iOS but not for Android. I am quite sure they have this feature for Android but I will probably have to get a rep for this feature.
Thanks for your insight. Thoughts?

You should think of this in cost-benefit terms. What is the cost for you to do so and what is the likely benefit?

The cost for me to do so would most likely be high, probably a large sum commitment. The benefit would be that I could further optimize campaigns with metrics that seem to be important.
To take this line of thinking a step further, the traffic quality is pretty good there. However, the types of campaigns that can be run are pretty tight so getting creative can be a bit difficult at times.
It seems like the cost (probably $5000) up front does not equate to a high enough value (campaign restrictions) for a commitment.
Any thoughts?
Also, is OS version a metric you guys typically optimize towards. I usually see OS spoken about, but never OS version.
