My local currency is Euros and I noticed it as well!
While it used to be about 75 euro cents/dollar, now it's about 88 euro cents! What can I say, I am, of course, very happy about it as my online income is all USD.

For me it worked out the other way... went direct on an offer around a year ago and switched to EUR, thanks to the recent exchange rate fluctuations I now almost get paid less in USD than street payout back then haha

Yeah, USD to EUR is very strong right now as well. If it keeps going the way it is, it'll be on par soon.

Don't worry you're not alone on your way to communism, France is having the exact same problems (spendings more than earnings, nanny state who care about everything but can't do the basics right, collectivism, blahblah, if you're greek you know the story).
It lasts for more than 40 years now.
It's just that markets are aware of France's exceptional ability to get their citizens paying taxes. That's why, unlike you guys, we keep getting debt money at 1%... but the end is close (even if we know that a communism ideology can live for a very, very, very long and painful time before the wall breaks)
To cheer you up a little
“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
