VMWare versus Bootcamp

Hey guys, anyone know the differences and if it works the same for installing windows? I think Bootcamp is free right and VMWare is about $80 for 12 months.

Isn't Bootcamp run natively on your Mac while VMWare is virtualized?

I personally run Parallels but I might switch back to Virtualbox, although it does require a little bit more setting up than Parallels.

if you run windows under bootcamp you cant use OSX at the same time. ie - to use OSX apps you would have to reboot and start OSX.

vmware, parralels, or virtualbox all run as "applications" within OSX.

virtualbox is cool and works well and is free.
