Has anyone here taken the career road in the online advertising / e-commerce world? Starting out, it kind of makes sense to me - 1) you've got a stable income of 40k+ / annum (enough to cover your expenses and save) 2) build up a contact base and gain experience in the field.
So after a few years of working for a company, you'd have enough experience and contacts (especially if you did b2b sales sort of stuff) to start building your own service/product.
Yay, nay, thoughts?
