Hi,
I have a question regarding my Exoclick/TJ account setup.
I have setup my accounts using my company VAT ID, and therefor I funded my accounts from my personal Paxum account and therefor I didn't need to pay 20% vat.
I am not a tax expert, but would that mean that I need to pay 20% of all my transactions in my own country (EU)?
Hopefully I can get some opinion about this.
No
As you own a company and operate with it you won't need to pay that VAT Tax.
I dont understand why you used your personal paxum when you registered as a company and even used your company's VAT ID. This way, I think you wont be able to use the amount as an expense for the accounting of your company. When doing business in the name of your company, you should also use the funds and accounts of your company. Since both exoclick and your company are registered in EU countries, the VAT isnt billed/charged for inter-country transactions, there is a special EU directive for that.
Yep just pay with your own company and you won't be charged VAT.
A person and a company are two different legal entities.
You should make sure you keep them separate and not co-mingle funds or activities without clear processes and documentation in place.
Come audit time, NOT being careful about these matters can come back to bite you big time.
Thank you everybody for helping me with this. I made a dumb mistake.
