FB Quality Score

How do you calculate quality score?

FB does not acknowledge having a quality score. However, there is speculation that there may be numerous pieces of data FB ultimately uses to determine which advertisers get higher or lower quality of traffic at what prices. There is a lot that goes on under the hood. If anyone wants to speculate about what these magic formulas are, by all means post your ideas here . I will start with one speculation -- older accounts with higher spend seem to be a positive indicator.

I have to agree with alchemist, there is no certain way to determine your actual quality score. You can tell by looking at the amount your paying for your traffic. The lower you pay the higher your quality score is...

Maybe one day FB will release this info but until then we can only just assume what's up...

I am running FB ads for these 2 weeks, suddenly the impressions dropped like crazy. Tried to add some more budget but still have no luck. The ads have a very low CPC (means very good viral and CTR). I assumed it has something to do with the quality score. Anyone has the same experience?

Try to raise your bid as well! You might have more competitors outbidding you!?

@fbqueen I am on optimized CPM. All i can do is increasing the budget.

Nice!

You can also view info about negative feedback rates, at least that's in the pipeline.

Edit: oh, this seems to be more based on feedback rates rather than pure QS. Either way more transparency from FB = better!

Yeah, just noticed this. Its helpful to know which ads fb is liking..

The ads I posted were for weddings at greenmantle lol. I'd be very surprised the feedback rates would be so low.

Oh I retract my statement:

Relevance score is calculated based on the positive and negative feedback we expect an ad to receive from its target audience. The more positive interactions we expect an ad to receive, the higher the ad’s relevance score will be. (Positive indicators vary depending on the ad’s objective, but may include video views, conversions, etc.) The more times we expect people to hide or report an ad, the lower its score will be.
So it seems they predict positive interactions like (presumably) likes, shares, conversions, etc.
