Hi STM
I see some gaming offers do revenue on some networks. I want to try them myself, but not sure if I have a chance as I'm running pops with not too much targeting available.
Do you think it's likely to run games on pops and make it work? or do people that do so usually do it with better targeted traffic i.e. facebook?
let me knoW!
It's definitely worth testing, but it'll depend a lot on where the pops are appearing. Are they very broadly targeted, or can you get some idea of the general demographic who will see them?
tested 3 angles. Didn't get a conversion after 3x payout for each of them. Moving on !
It definitely converts for the right games on the right pop traffic.
The BIG problem is that the quality is crap and you will almost certainly get kicked off the offer eventually. Most don't want pop traffic anymore and something you need to check before you run it.
Last year i did $x,xxx - $xx,xxx on several android/ios games on pops and didn't get any quality complaints but I'm not disagreeing that the traffic is less "qualified" in that the user has been confronted with the app store and clicked a single button as opposed to seeing a banner or interstitial which piqued their interest and clicked on it and then clicking again at the app store.
