I hear there is a lot of opportunity to arbitrage web video if you can build a site with video content. Does anyone have experience doing this? I'd love to chat about the best way to get video content.

A few days ago an account manager of a pop traffic source I'm using told me about that, he said that people is in the 5000$ daily ad spent but I'm not sure if it was a bluff.
I took a look at the sites being promoted and they were Wordpress blogs with a few articles, then your usual banner ads and a player which is in repeat, launching video ads one after other.
I tried to look at the source code in order to see where they were getting the ads but I couldn't find it. Anyways it looked spammy to me, kind of grey hat...
I've been looking at a few website doing this recently, but I'm still trying to figure out a) where they are getting the ads from b) how they are getting those websites approved.
Because just like bimoca noted those sites are full of veeeeery thin content, image heavy, ads everywhere and autolaunching video ads. They are also ranking really high on Alexa, so I guess that they are indeed buying tons of traffic. Definitely interested in this approach and happy to chat in private.
If you promote YouTube videos read carefully TOC because AdSense on site can't be promoted via popups
From what I saw they're not using Adsense for the video ads neither for the banner ads.
and here's another reason why people can't get shit to convert on low quality ad networks.
