There is a million emails in my inbox. Important emails that say offers are paused, my server is down or I am running out of budget sometimes get lost in the sea of other emails. I use IFTTT to deal with this problem. If this then that. Im sure most of you know what is is and use it but for those who don't it makes If/then statements that plug in to sooo many other apps like gmail,dropbox,your phone, evernote etc etc. I basically have it look through my gmail for those emails and either call me, send me an SMS text message or whatever else based on how urgent it is. Here are a couple of ways I use it for affiliate stuff:
1)Get a phone call when you are running out money in your traffic source
2) Get a Android/iOS notification when your server is down FREE PINGDOM ACCOUNT REQUIRED
3) Get a text when your offer is about to be paused
Great idea.
Site24x7 is also good with server monitoring.
I was using it for some test stuff recently and got quite a few calls, SMS and emails all simultaneously whenever the server was inaccessible for more than a minute!
Wow I use IFTTT, but never thought about using it for AM.
Going to try some of these now..
