Hi there
recenetly I started enjoying AM a lot. like I want to throw shit and see what happens. I never felt like that before. I'm not profitable now but can't wait to get back to where I used to be. It's just a game and I want to break my high score. Does it happen to you as well?
Do you also act like workeholics? I just find it a great thing. And I have a general life plan of progress i.e. levels/quests to achieve, so I have a sense of a purpose/goal. It seems like the top affiliates I meet are just obssessed.
What's your take on it? are you obssessed as well?
I can confidently say I'm obsessed. I try to work less, but I enjoy it so much it's hard to switch off. It then gets hard when your friends become work colleagues, it becomes a blur.
If I didn't have a girlfriend. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have a life.
Same here, grinding all days and long nights. Should control myself more, if its ever possible.
Yes, I am. 8-12 hr shifts in shitty work, 2hrs commuting, grinding whenever I can. No clubs, no gadgets, no games, almost no parties and pretty much no meeting with friends.
And I'm slowly becoming addicted to this game.
Pretty obsessed. It's like a "hobby that pays well" than a "job"
I find it very hard to detach from it mentally though, always thinking of new things to do or test, or desperate to F5 your stats when you get home.
Yep I think it happens to everyone at some point.
I had a 9 month period when all I cared was beating the last month's "score" and nothing else.
My social life and health took the hit.
Lately I try to have a more balanced life, at the end time is more precious than money.
when i first started off, it was pretty unmotivating, everything did not work out, could not figure out the simple stuff like tracking and setting up domains and a million other issues.
slowly when the results got better, the motivation improved, and the results got even better, and it became more fun and now i just cant get off working. even after passing most of the work to employees, i will still actively look for more opportunities to keep myself busy, i think its like a snowball, it keeps getting more fun like a game and we want to play more of it?
at the same time i try to keep a balance, keep my personal human needs met well, and then after that come back with a better mind and body to work again!!!
Same here and just because I love this job so much.
Its a dangerous mix once your job becomes your favorite thing to do, because you WILL spend your free time working.
Nevertheless its fun for a few months or so, but after a while you gotta get some timeouts. Sometimes you will remember how other things are just as enjoyable
