Is It OK To Promote a Pick-up Site on Facebook?
I'm reading over Facebook's ad guidelines and they're pretty hazy. If you are promoting an ebook on how to get better at pickup up women, is that considered promoting a "dating" site? Does anybody know if Facebook explicitly allows or disallows these types of offers?
I'm also not sure where the line gets drawn. What if you have a pickup type Facebook page and you're only running page likes campaigns and running offers to people who like you?

They do not like them, I can assure you of that much...they tend to consider it an "adult product or service"...I used to run a lot of like campaigns to fan pages with the visitor landing on a custom tab to an opt in page that was "fuzzy" about the topic (the headline was "Attractive Woman Will Send You An Attractive Photo Once A Day") but they got huffy about that and eventually banned me, even though they didn't have an issue with it for many months. It was a very successful campaign, but they eventually swung the ban hammer.
If someone on the forum has success on Facebook keeping an offer like this running, PM me...

Where do you think they draw the line exactly? If directly promoting an offer is against the TOS, do you think you could still drive subscribers to the site with paid ads? Or would that likely even be a no no?

Facebook is not against affiliates but they're certainly hunting down on accounts that don't follow their TOS. So if you feel it is worth a shot to you (meaning you may get your account flagged) give it a try, otherwise just find something that's 100% crystal clear and legit.
Or get a cloaker...

Do you use a cloaker, and if yes, what to be careful with? I have one, but I'm afraid that my account will be banned - even if I use a cloaker.
I've lost 3 accounts in the past (without using a cloaker), and I have now 2 remaining. I occasionally use my cloaker for a couple of days to make some quick monies on FB, but I don't get to sleep with a peaceful mind if you know what I mean.

Don't risk your accounts with cloaking - especially when you're not really comfortable doing it!

Some advice:
1) Farm multiple accounts that are ready to "die"
2) Cloakers should be fine, I still use them on FB.
Cheers,
