Tackling CHINA - 1.3 billion people - WHERE'S MY TRAFFIC?!
so I’m looking at the biggest geo in the world, but it seems like there’s not much CN traffic available to buy.
1.I’m wondering why it’s so, I understand there are some serious problems with government and stuff, but can people be more specific?
2. what are the biggest mobile traffic sources for china that you know of?
Trying to see where china is headed and why the fuck it's not full of traffic by now.

Well China has it's own versions for search engines and social networks which is very hard to get into, but if you want to see Chinese traffic-adult traffic is an easy route. The problem for CPA marketers is that there are not any offers there, because it is so regulated.

The internet space in China is literally own by the few giant players (baidu, tencent...) and it's actually an inner circle where they can promote each other's product internally. So why would they still need affiliate marketer?
I got to know this on my recent trip to Beijing & Shenzhen.

Strongly disagree. What makes you say this? AM in China is so much more than baidu and tencent, and it's a developing story.
I know for a fact that a lot of the big bucks nutra advertisers are pushing into China, and I doubt their products will be promoted internally by an inner circle of Chinese giant players.
Be innovative, and make it happen.

I'm considering starting a traffic source there, I have no clue how to do it.
Trying to understand why it hasn't been done so far.

I didn't say this but I was told by the CEOs of the few CPA networks during my trip to China - that's why we don't get to see many CPA offers taking China traffic.
Btw, I was referring to the point "they don't need affiliate marketer to promote their products/services in China".

Hi Vaalion!
There is lots of China traffic out there, but we don't see a lot of demand for it. If you do want China traffic you should be able to just request it be increased with the traffic source you use.

It's both really.
China is in it's early stages of traffic sources and networks, but is growing fast as of recently. More and more opportunity will come, getting your feet in the door and starting to network in asia is probably the best bet atm
