Passing Voluum Parameters & Subid Through Several Lander???

I have a funnel consisting of 2 landers and I would like to know how to pass parameters and subid from traffic sources to Voluum through those 2 landers. Sho far, I lose all the paramater and subid value when I get to the 2nd lander. Can anybody help me? The path is like this: ad->lander1->lander2->offer

what makes you think you are loosing the parameters on second lander? Voluum will pass all data to each lander, provided you send click back to Voluum from your lander

How do you set that up properly though? Do you follow these steps:
1. Create 2 landers in the Voluum lander tab
2. Create 2 separate campaigns with each one using each of the created lander
3. On lander 1, put the voluum link of the 2nd campaign (with the 2nd lander) to your CTA

Is this they way to set it up? Please correct me if I'm wrong

Ah, right, you mean that you're going

ad->lander1->lander2->offer ?

Rather than split-testing two landers?

Yes that is exactly what I mean

I would also be interested in knowing how to this. Would be pretty useful

if the offer, or point of conversion is right at the end of the lander path, and you aren't looking to track a conversion from the first lander... then you just link first lander to 2nd lander by url.. Voluum uses cookies so the final offer will still register the click and conversion.

however, if you are trying to see where your traffic drops off, then you need to create the link to the 2nd lander as an offer.. and have 2 offers active on the lander and 2nd lander uses click/2

or simply stick Google analytics and set up a goal/path..

What I'm looking for is track conversion and CTR from 1st lander to 2nd lander by websiteID and conversions by WebsiteID as well. I guess I will need to create a second campaign if I'm to track these?

When you say track conversion from 1st L to 2nd L , Im not clear ..

You have an offer that can be clicked on lander1? or is it just simply passing the traffic through to lander 2 where the offer is?

If it's the latter.. the website ID, as long as it is tracked in the original link to the path, will be available when you have a converted click ID for the offer.

Any solution for this yet?

I tried to passing tokens directly into my LP using {var:tokenname}, but it not worked.

I'm going to investigate this on Monday and hopefully come back with a tutorial.

If you don't hear anything from me on this thread by Tuesday, PM me or reply here!

I'm already working on a solution as well.

Passing {var1}, {var2} variables to LP should do the thing.
Then rebuild the query string in code and pass it to another LP.

But it still not works, if I hit to a solution I will let ya know as well.

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve? All you need to do is get the end clickid at the offer.. and Voluum will show the converting parameters.. even if you stick 5 landers in a path..

We talk about TOKENS: Site ID, Keywords, Category ID ... you name it.

Once you do things like back button redirect and send a visitor to new campaign or back to same campaign you lose these and it will show up in Voluum as "Unknown".

I already got it working, doing some tests now and if it pass them I will post a solution guys.

Ok, maybe in that case is different from what avn_0903 is describing.. simply passing cookie/clickid from one lander to another.. which works fine with any custom tokens.

You could do it like this... and should work fine without any extra coding.

Set up main lander.. (1st lander) as a lander with three offers.

Upload your 2nd lander as an offer rather than lander.

Upload your two actual offers for each lander.

Create your campaign, add the first lander. Should pop up saying campaign has more than one offer.

Add the 2nd lander (as an offer) add the two actual offers.

On first lander.. you can set your back button redirect as /click/3 and the offer as /click/4

Then you just need to do some grouping in the reports to track it all.. Like group by lander then group by offer.. then group by websiteID or whatever..

But yeah.. it's getting complex then haha

Your solution was the same as dynamicsoul's solution? I thought Jennatalia did post something similar to dynamicsouls solution in your thread.

Excellent stuff! Sounds like the urgent bits have been resolved.

I ended up working on something similar to @erikgyeps' solution.

I'll write this up as a tutorial in the near future and post it for everyone's use.
