I just got an email from NewsMax regarding their self serve feed network-- anyone tried it out yet? From 2005 to 2009 I was all over the NewsMax site and their customers were fantastic, but then they changed the site (against my strident recommendation) to make it more imagey for big dumb companies, and the change absolutely killed response to their banners. They may be higher priced, but conservative customers (and NewsMax really is more like the National Enquirer for the conservative market) are fantastic buyers....the Athena Pheremones ad ran on their site for a very long time, and might still be on there.

They are very large buyers of placements on content recommendation networks (e.g. Taboola) to drive traffic to their pages, so depending on the price of the placements, it may be better to go directly to the content recommendation networks themselves and split test the results.
