Tracking conversions from my apps + Voluum (8)

Tracking conversions from my apps + Voluum

I've got a few friends who want me to deliver app installs for Android.

They don't have anything except for the app (they added the SDK for conversion tracking pixel on FB) and they want more traffic outside of FB to achieve around 5-10k installs per day.
I've launched a few campaigns for test with them and got more than 500 conversions from different traffic sources in 2 days, so I know it works.

How could we track the conversions using Voluum so I can optimize the campaigns as I'd do promoting any app install on a CPA network?

Otherwise I'm going blind and we don't know where to optimize. The most they've been able to achieve is to gather stats from which OS version is working more (e.g. 2.3, 4.4, etc.) But we don't know where the conversions are coming from aside from that.

Thanks for you help in advance.

You will need to get a tracker that can integrate with the App itself. Appsflyer is a popular choice but Hasoffers (they are rebranding to ''Tune'') is also fairly commonly used and familiar for affiliates. The SDK's are super simple to integrate - only a few lines of code

As far as I know there aren't any free options

We're actually launching our Android SDK for mobile app tracking at MWC in March -- it's built into Voluum. Let me know if you'd be interested in testing it out.

I'm definitely interested Robert. I could give it a good use and test this week. Do you need my email account?

Thanks

I'm also interested in tracking own app installs and first launch. Doing this with Voluum would be great

Recently set up app tracking for one of our own apps with www.adjust.com. Basic package is €100/m (0.04/attribution). There are probably cheaper solutions and it needs integration of its SDK but then also allows for callbacks to Voluum. Actually quite simple once you've found the right parameters to pass. Let me know if you need help there.

Where can I find more information on the Voluum/Android SDK and will there be a solution for iOS as well? Might be an even better and easier fit.

Hey guys, so we put together a quick first version of mobile app tracking for WMC. You can demo it here: https://Voluum.com/mobile-app-tracking/

Right now we don't track organic installs, nor do we have a solution for iOS. We just hired a senior iOS developer and we will be making a solution for iOS and implementing organic tracking.

If install and events tracking is sufficient for you, we can hook you up with our Android SDK to test for free - it'll be free for a long time, and we'll be developing features based on our testers needs, as we did with Voluum tracking.

Hello Robert. This works for APKs outside of the play store as well, isn't it?

If so. I'd like to try it and port a few campaigns to scale next week.
