$Xxx,xxx in a month, Perfect start for 2015

I am very excited to share my success with you guys. I have been able to finally hit the magic number, perfect start for 2015.

Total this month

I started with zero dollar, yes I even worked for a month just to buy my first domain and hosting 8 years back. I bought my first computer when I was 21 and have to take loan for it. Yes it took me 8 years to get this level but its not too late. I am slow but persistent. I am from the country where I am yet to find out another affiliates doing paid traffic like me, though now I am helping few friends to get started. My first 5 years went without much growth, I was doing SEO & web development, but it helped me to get started in Paid traffic affiliate marketing.

I want to thank you all for helping me out especially STM Forum, Charles Ngo, Benjamin Yong, Mr Green, iAMAttila, Zeno. You guys changed my life. My words are not enough to express my feeling & how valuable is your help for me.

Biggest lesson I have learned is start with smaller geo with less competition when you don’t know what you are doing. Once you learn the process and have some money for investment move to bigger Geo without much delay. Fear of losing in big geo was the biggest hurdle for me. Its not that much different to get success in bigger geo once you know what you are doing & already have some profitable campaigns under your belt.

I did reward myself & went for few days vacation to Singapore. See you guys in STM London.

These 6 figure month success stories are popping up all the time now!

But I thought internet marketing was dead

02-02-2015 04:48 AM #8 rko360 (Member)

How much of it is profit? Revenue doesn't mean anything.

Are you doing mobile?

How do you manage your cashflow? Do you use a high limit credit card to fund your campaigns?
Do you run campaigns for a week, stop for a few days to get paid, then run your campaigns again?

02-02-2015 05:39 AM #9 smitas (Member)

Profit (ROI) is good enough for US mobile.
I get paid twice a week so, I don't have much problem of cash flow. I don't use credit card at all for campaigns. I am not newbie just starting, Its already been 8 years, I have started internet marketing.

Thank you everyone. Internet marketing is never going to be dead, it just evolves. We have to keep up to date.

How much money did you start with? I mean, how much money did you have when you started running campaigns on Jan 1, 2015?

Is your screenshot from your affiliate network or excel because the year is wrong. Jan 1025

Hehe...Man i am not a newbie. I had many successful campaigns prior to this big one. I was constantly doing about $1k revenue/day prior to this big one. I was afraid of going to big GEO like US but when i turned my face to US i achieved my $10k revenue a day. And yes This screenshot is from excel.(I use excel to track my campaigns). And its JAN 2015

Too bad. Loosing nice points or 2% cash back.

02-02-2015 04:45 PM #18 dotcom (Member)

Congratulations on your success! Some people are afraid of the bigger GEOs because they involve bigger pockets for testing. But like you experienced, the bigger the GEO, the bigger the paychecks!

02-02-2015 05:00 PM #19 fanatic4k (Member)

Those are 8 years well spent I must say. Congrats smitas for your big new year achievement. Hustling like a boss!

This surely is a motivation kick for me and many others out there I haven't hit any big days yet, but I know they will come if I keep pushing forward. Wish you even bigger months ahead.

Yes, its bad to bitch about my own country but i have to say, I am from country where i cannot spend more than $10k/year on international credit cards. That's our international card limit here in Nepal. Ya you got it right, its $10k /year.... So i don't use credit cards at all.

Amazing.

Overnight success. 8 years

This is reality. Persistence and hard work pays off.

Good job smitas!

And you're right on the part where AM is never going to be dead. The internet is a very dynamic space and we have to keep evolving and adapt to the changes or else we would be forfeited by this game.

Keep rocking and I look forward to your $300k/month success story!

02-06-2015 05:06 PM #38 cz_voyager (Member)

@smitas: Amazing inspiration! Well done! I still struggle but stories like yours are helping me to keep grinding!

02-18-2015 11:33 AM #39 smitas (Member)

Ya, We face many other problems, some one in developed nations don't have to think. We affiliates are problem solver, so complaining the situation doesn't help any way.

Nepal is very cheap, according to study its second cheapest in the world just after India.

Wow. That would definitely be seen as a roadblock for most affiliate marketers. That is really awesome that instead of just complaining about this, you persevered and found a way to overcome these challenges.

Really really cool.

I imagine $xxx, xxx a month in Nepal goes a long way

Thank you, It was pleasure to meet you last time in STM BKK & inspired us to work hard. Hope to meet you in STM London.
