Wanted to ask if anyone has any ideas for self hosted software for managing lead gen, billing etc.
In the case where you have a Lead Buyer, and you generate the leads on your own landers with your own traffic and sell the leads as CPL.
1.) Drive Traffic -> Tracker Tracks -> Landers Capture Leads -> Thank You Page Fires Conversions To Tracker
2.) Optimize and Repeat.
Now I have the leads in a database and need to get them over to the lead buyer who does have an API.
I want to track leads sent per day to lead buyer, and invoice weekly or ad-hoc to lead buyer for the sent leads.
It's a pretty simple database to build and landers can dump data in easy enough - but then once you get into the invoicing etc it starts to make you think I'd rather buy something if it already exists than deal with this hassle.
Ideally something that lets you add additional custom fields for specific types of leads. Even generates the <form> code. And is self hosted.
Most of the host and post cloud platforms make me cringe with the thought of what others would be doing with my data.
Would that be too much to ask for - or does this exist somewhere..?

Maybe have a look at SugarCRM.
I know they have some sort of leadmanagement and you can also create froms out of it to insert the leads directly into the CRM.
Unfortunatley I don't know if they offer selling-features (invoices, etc.) but the solution is one of the self-hosted ones.

What you are looking for is called a lead distribution system. I have been doing exactly what you are talking about for many years now and I can tell you Cake is the best out there by far. It's also the most expensive but well worth it if you are doing any volume. I had just the Lead Distribution side of Cake for a long time but in the last year or so upgraded to the full Cake that includes the affiliate tracking side as well. If you only run your own traffic and don't need the affiliate side then you can get the lead distro part only for I believe $1,500/month or so.
Yep another for Cake here. Even though it's far from ideal, there are no other options I know of.
I found a couple point (self hosted solutions) out there for about $2K, but they look like they're written in the late 90's. Had everything except the flaming text.

Many folks who do large scale lead distribution have their own systems developed in house. We once evaluated Cake and a whole range of other solutions to see if that could cut down on our in house IT costs, but there were so many very specialised functionalities missing that were very specific to our activities and geos that we decided to pass.
I don't know exactly what you're doing, but I'd have a look at business CRMs like Salesforce and Close.io. Salesforce is pretty much #1 in the world, and I'm sure you could make it do anything you want. You don't have to deal with any installations or servers, it's all in the cloud, just pay $100/month or whatever. It's also ideal for longevity, you can grow infinitely and manage all future leads in there.
It may or may not be the right answer here, worth a look though.
@_mcr_ Those crms are Get A Lead -> Work The Lead -> Close The Deal + Report, not really the right fit.
@cmdeal, after looking at Cake Lead Distribution I agree with you. Looks ok, but it will surely not have everything we want, and I don't want to be paying a monthly fee for an un-customizable cloud system. Looks like we'll build it in house as well.
