New Voluum is slower? (10)

New Voluum is slower?

Hi guys,

I'm sure you noticed that Voluum updated it's UI today. Nice blue colour...except its slower. For example, when I open a tab and then click the 'x' to close it...it doesn't close. I have to hit that 'x' maybe 5-6 times before it closes.

Then I go into campaigns, tab opens and try to do some other things and just moves slightly slower...

Am I the only problem with this issue?

If you're still experiencing this issue - let me know where you're accessing our panel from and I'll have someone look into it.

I have been experiencing this issue all day.

I just made a video and sent it via PM

Not as slow as for you but it's been a little slower for me as well. I also noticed (starting 1-2 days ago I think) a lot of fluctuation in my clicks/conversions disappearing and appearing. It happened in the past as well but never had this fluctuation so frequent.

I just recorded a video of me opening a tab and clicking on it to get it to close...but it never did. Sent it to zero park...

I hope they fix this. The reason I left Bevo was because it was SO SLOW and unresponsive even when I wanted to close windows. I hope this gets fixed!! *fingers crossed*

The issue turned out to be a bug with Safari, nothing to do with performance of our front-end. It's just been patched and pushed to our production servers. If you could confirm that you're able to close the tabs without any issues - ctrl+f5 refresh first.

@beckslash We're using an "eventual consistency model" and sometimes (rarely), when there is very high demand on our traffic servers, you may see stale data for up to 2 minutes. We will be patching this in the near future to make it seamless but we had not anticipated such high volumes coming thru Voluum so soon after launch.

I know what it's like to sit there and refresh, especially when you're starting new campaigns.. so I understand the frustration with that. However, rest assured that everything is being tracking properly.

@zeropark Yeah, I figured out that has something to do with caching the data for faster access. There's no problem because they come back eventually. I just wanted to point out that it happened a lot often in the past few days than before in case it helps you in some way...
