Adwords Conversions Tracking + Voluum + CPA Network /wrists

Hey.

Run CPA offers on Adwords and need to implement conversiontracking so i can track placement performance in Adwords interface. Google only offers a big iframe script that does not seem paste-able anywhere in Voluum, nor my CPA Network. Tried with Voluum support but they didn't know a way to figure it out either. Tried pasting the S2S link part of the iframe as a postback or piggyback pixel in Voluum, didnt work. Tried to set up my own "Thank You Page" that would have the script in it, but it seems i either did it wrong or that it doesn't work.

Would literallly do anything for a solution to this problem at this point...

Please help

What software are the CPA networks using?

Also, what markup language have you select for the Google Conversion code?

Hey dude, thanks a lot for the input.

I use several different aff networks, but it should not be an issue as i was hoping Voluum could post back to adwords, as i only have my Voluum postback URL tied to the aff networks and it works perfectly.

Trying your technique now, but voluum postback URL field and piggyback redirect URL field in the Traffic Source set up does not allow for img tag pixels, it has to be an URL. So i took the

https://www.googleadservices.com/pag...p;guid=ON& script=0

And added it as a postback URL instead of a pixel img, which i have tried before but with http rather than https. Will report with results.

Also trying with replacing the & with just "&"

If I could only have 1 pixel placed, I would use the Google one. The only reason being is that you can then start using their optimizer and you can still upload the converting subids to Voluum manually.

Also. check to see if you can have more than one pixel/postback placed at the aff network. I know a lot can!

Yea i know i can have several postbacks in the aff networks, did not mean to say i could have only 1. But, i'd prefer it if Voluum postbacked to google instead of the aff network. Also, the aff networks only accept S2S Postback URLs for the offers i run, so img tag pixels are not supported there either. So it would have to be a S2S postback URL of some kind, and if that worked, i could just post it in Voluum just as well as the aff network, it would be the same thing.

The problem is that at best it seems i can only get either the iframe script, or a pixel img from Google, neither of which will work in Voluum/Aff networks.

The only thing i can think of then is to make some sort of own solution with a thank you page that has googles script on it, that is only pinged by voluum when a conversion is made, but not sure if it would work or how i should go about it. Damn this technical impairment...

Don't you need to wait 24h for the conversions to show up on Adwords?
When I used them long ago I remember a delay of a day until I saw something on Adwords

Thanks, yeah that might be the case. I don't know. Been spamming different techniques today and letting a few conversions pass between each time. So if tomorrow there are a few postbacked then i'll know that something worked

Did you ever get this to work. I have same situation. I want to have Voluum trigger the adwords pixel back to adwords but field in Voluum won't accept the pixel.

I've had numerous conversations about this with AdWords support, there is no post back in AdWords

No, i didnt sadly. As auditor says it seems impossible if you can't control the product pages yourself

There's no postback in adwords, but they have something call offline conversions. It's the closest thing to "uploading subids" into Adwords

It should be pretty simple for Voluum to pick up the gclid and pass it into the aff link for later uploading.

I just modded p202 pro to do this.

Will this work on mobile? The support page says it uses cookies, surely that makes it unreliable for mobile campaigns?

It's tough to make adwords conversion tracking work on anything that has cookies turned off. Thrive can piggy back the Adwords pixel and fire it for every conversion. We can handle all kinds of pixels (post-backs, image, iframe, JS, raw HTML), but iframe is the best for this purpose. Of course, the Thrive pixel must be loaded on the webpage, and cookies enabled. If you need a server to server call, this is simply not possible with AdWords.
