Yo, I am experimenting with some pop traffic and noticed they dont have any smart CPM or something like this on popads. So I have to bid for every impressions each and dont know how much I should bid when testing landers for the first run. I had a look on avg bid and it also shows me how much traffic would be available, but this traffic seems very minor for such a huge price. Is pop traffic in general way more expensive than banners? (is ~$0.01 normal to pay for a single impression)?
How should I start out bidding?
starting low and increase bid to get more decent traffic or settle average and splittest both? (increase and decrease via 2 seperate campaigns)
Thanks in advance!
Depending on the country and network prices are usualy between $0.30 and $5.00 per 1,000 popups. What county are you targeting?
I am running in South Africa for a bid of 0.01 and being in quee 7 with only 480 impressions per day. Yesterday it was 2500. The campaign is still pending in approval, but this volume seems to be very very low for such a price. Offer payout is $1.65 by the way
Try to get an AM there and ask for more details about volume and bids.
Yeah, this seems weird. Dropped them a message to get a rep, but didnt get any response yet.
So far I got like 80 views per hour with a bid of $0.011 which is $11 for 1k views. raised it now to play around and see how things change, but bidding over $0.02 is just way too expensive for testing, isnt it?
maybe you guys can recommend me another source wiht cheaper inventory and good volume? Non adult, since the offer doesnt allows, thanks!
I've been testing some display & redirect sources for a while and ZA is not a cheap traffic country even though they have low volume.
Example from Zeropark:

ZA has the lowest volume but is one of the highest bid countries.
