Some basic questions regarding Adult offers with TJ and ExoClick
I'm SO sorry if there is already some type of question / guide regarding this already, I just signed up and as you know when first signing into a forum things are some what overwhelming. Anyway, so I was told by a friend of mine that Adult is awesome and using the offers with the likes of TJ and ExoClick works really well too. So, I have just got myself signed up on Advidi for some adult offers, I have money to invest into split testing campaigns/LPs as well.
Having watched over some videos on TJ's Youtube channel I noticed you must use their built in sources to bid on, it's funny because I just started to learn PPV and had a brain fart and thought I would be able to bid on my own researched URL's, laughable, anyway so yes I guess the questions I have would be related to setting up campaigns on TJ and ExoClick. I noticed there are quite a lot of options on TJ for example, maybe someone can link me to a useful guide on here that is up to date, or just post some helpful suggestions.
Thanks

Hi aimhigh! Welcome to the STM family!
You can find a plan for making exoclick work in this thread:
http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-Exoclick-work
Adult has become such a hard game to play. If I was just starting out today I would choose mobile over adult for sure. But I'm sure you'll do your own research and come to your own conclusions!
Good luck!

Hello Amy,
Firstly thanks a lot for taking the time to share the link, it's super appreciated nice one.
Recently I just started to test out PPV and have someone helping me out with that next week, one friend of mine told me she is doing really well with adult and stuff currently. She's using TJ and promoting via custom unique made banners mostly, I did look into the mobile but damn does it look complicated in regards to the amount of different models, not to mention I'd need to reinvest into a new tracking software (i think), I have CPVLab currently and from what I (assume) that would not cut it, right.
Cheers

Don't get distracted by all those money making opportunities. Choose PPV, mobile or adult desktop. They are all good sources of making money. Just dedicate all of your time, in the beginning, to one way of making money.

You're most welcome!
I've never used CPVLab so can't comment on that (I've used STM's modded prosper tracker and have since moved to
Voluum). Did your friend tell you how much she's had to "lose" before she got profitable with adult? Mobile is actually quite easy to get started in. Caurmen's Mobile Cookbook is IMO the best place to start:

At any rate, I wish you the best of luck with all your endeavors!

Thanks a lot for your feedback, honestly thanks a lot. I'm in no rush and will take my time rather than jumping in headfirst to start with. Last night I was reading over the (Angles) section and it's REALLY REALLY REALLY opened up my eyes and given me something to think about. I have a graphics guy that can do my banners/LP's including CPVLab to track too.
What I don't want to end up like is the chump that wastes his time without thinking outside the box, the guy that rips others content and ends up bidding against the same spot as others are, that are using the same ripped content because IMO it's going to get me nowhere. Instead, I plan to take the offers my AM has sent me over (new'ish ones) with good Net EPC's that are converting well, I'm going to spend as much time on the angles as I will the graphics and stuff, I'm sure it's going to enable me to achieve better results.
I'm going to look into the mobile whilst researching the angle side of things too.
Cheers
