Monetizing List of over 1MIL Past/Current College Students

Hey guys so I got my hands on a list of a very famous university in the East Coast, that has all the information of over a million of alumni.
Before you ask, I one day opened up my computer and the File Fairy had placed the excel sheet on my Desktop, that's what happened and i'm sticking to it.

Now... is there any way to monetize a list like that? On paper it looks like it would have great value and it's a prestigious university meaning it's mostly kids that are very well off financially or come from families that are.

Did they opt in? CANSPAM violations abound if they didn't. And if these are well off families, you can bet they'll have lawyers.

Otherwise, plenty of options. Look at job placement rate of students. That's a good place to start.

How about rev-share Essay affiliate programs? They can be Gold especially with rebills.

As to how to monetize the list, if there are legal problems sending them Promotional emails, you could get a little creative, send them something that doesn't look like sales letter, but is a good click-bait, maybe to a fake news site, where you put a regargeting code and then follow them with your advertising all over the internet.

Katim, do you know where I could learn more about retargeting?

Finch 2015 edition of Premium Posts has nice section on retargeting, you could start there. And that pdf has tons of valuable information on affiliate marketing in general. Highly reccomend.

Yes, if you are thinking about email/spamming them, all I can say is ... don't. Retargering is much more of a gray area, but spamming is black and white.

Yeah I think retargeting is the way to go. If anybody has experience with retargeting and would like to run it together I'm willing to negotiate a deal for a partnership.

Here's a thought.

Facebook has the capability to create an audience from a list of emails. Add that list to Facebook and market to that audience through Facebook ads.
