Ok, so I'm going to try to answer your question but first let me take this opportunity to vent out a few things, so listen up people...

tvtgroup1 is not doing himself a favor by asking questions the way he did. Let's break it down:

He wants to know how's the traffic quality in content.ad. Fair enough. I mean, shows concern about quality which if found should have a positive impact on his camps. Good for him.

Then goes on to inform us that he is getting 1 EPC in his current camp. This is where things start to go downhill:

Is he getting 1$ , 1 cent? See it could be anything... hell it could be that he has managed to have an actual EPC.

Now, how does this connects to asking for a rep, I have no clue.

And to finish it off we have the mythical "if i'm spending my money wrong, please tell me where I can find some $$$ by recommending a traffic source you have tested and are now making $$$" (not to mention the implied order ' suggest me...' but I'll attribute that to a difference is language, so no harm there.) Don't ask for traffic sources people.

Please try to understand what your assets are as an affiliate. Yeah, traffic sources are one of your most precious assets.

Let me make absolutely clear that this is not a personal go at tvtgroup1 but a generalization on many posts I'm seeing that well, don't add much to the discussion and frankly only hurt those that are asking as they won't get the needed help.

So to not make this just a complaint this is how I would think tvtgroup1 could phrase his questions in a way that could benefit him more:

Hey guys,
Hope you are all doing well. I'm currently running a camp in content.ad and while it seems to be doing good/bad/whatever (I'm currently getting around 1$ EPC and why this is good/bad/etc) I'm worried about the quality of the traffic as I really want to scale this (or whatever).

Has anyone had quality issues in the past with content.ad? Any tips are appreciated.

Also, I'm looking for new sources in the same category to test, could you guys point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

P.S: if you have direct contact with a rep in content.ad mind letting me ask you a few things via PM? Please let me know (there could be a million reasons why someone would not want to pimp out his rep in public but might help you in private)

======
Now as for content.ad, I haven't run there, but I suspect there will be a mix of quality. Only way to know is to test.

On point!

As for content.ad, it looks like it leans toward content/article marketing. So I'd suggest something like Taboola/Outbrain if you want similar advertising sources.

I'm not sure about content.ad's traffic quality but if you're getting $1 EPCs you should be able to scale, talk to their support and get a rep by normal means. Even if you did get a rep, for what purpose would this be? Are certain optimisations not possible without a rep?

I've used Taboola quite a bit throughout the years and the traffic is great. They require a $2500 I/O to start a campaign though, so make sure you're serious about your campaign.

Lastly, both Outbrain and Taboola have "tightened" up their ad approval guidelines, so anything pertaining (grotesque images, flogs, ad laiden web pages) probably won't get approved there.

What kind of vertical did you work with? I've tried diet and had a difficult time getting it to work. With Taboola, it'll take $x,xxx testing before revealing sites that will convert. There are far too many viral-type websites with poor quality traffic on their network.

Outbrain is even more strict, and it seems they won't accept anything remotely related to diet. Content.ad seems the most lenient in regards to verticals, however.

I was buying traffic for the "celeb-trash" viral type websites, so it worked out well. To be transparent, I wasn't running diet/muscle on the network.

You could always try, https://www.revcontent.com/. I've never used them, but I have seen some REALLY grotesque images in their widget, so there is a good chance they would approve anything.

If you're running ingestibles on revcontent, I'm pretty sure you or the addy have to provide lab tests for the product. They have lax standards on the ads, but you can't run crap products. iirc
