I'm considering running a free protein shaker promotion on one of my blogs to grab some new subscribers. I've never really sold my own physical product before so I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing this.
I was considering buying a big shipment on alibaba for a very low cost per unit and then outsourcing fulfillment to some company and integrating into my website.
Is this a good plan? What fulfillment company would you recommend for this?
If this plan sucks and there's a better way of accomplishing what I'm doing, what do you think that is?

Try a digital free gift, such as a workout video or something along those lines. You don't really want to get into the Inventory game, it's not much fun.

Instead of giving away products for free, where you will get a load of freebie hunters just signing up for the free product even if they dont want it.
You should run a competition instead and invite your current user base to it. Make it viral so they can invite there friends for a better chance in winning.
