How fast does your ad burns out?

Hey at all,

just a question. I have a campaign for an audience of 1.4 Mil (only one ad). I'm running this on a 500$ budget (day part) since 3 days. Today finally the CR dropped heavily, CTR of the ad was mostly the same as usual, CTR of lander was 2% lower than regulary.

Reachmant was 200.000 for that ad and frequency showed me 1.18

Is that normal? How often do you change your ads?

I thought I can relax till that ad reaches something like 800.000 views?

I would suggest to make variations of the same ad. That way you can run it longer.

Also, you should consider that most people don't click an on ad the first time they see it. By conveying the same message through different ads you may not only increase ad lifespan but also ROI

just my 2c.

The best way to do it is just to change the pictures or headlines. Anyway, the way to increase the life of your campaign is the golden rule of Internet marketing:

Always be testing.

One mistake I did at the start is getting a working lander or banner and sticking to it hoping it continues to milk money for me for months. But that's not how it works. Every 2-3 days you should be looking to change a portion of the campaign(of course keeping the rest of it intact and just rolling the new thing), whether be it your banner or your lander. Small or big changes, it still got to be done.

Good luck!

This doesnt have to do anything with the ad itself. Some days are better, some are worse, there are things that "sell" better on weekends, some sell better during the week. There are also fluctuations that are completely random and you cannot influence them, especially with lower volume. You need to learn to know your market area which comes with time. To really get a feel of it, you will need to run in that given space for a few weeks non stop. Im not telling you to let a campaign run for a month without touching it, but if you are gonna make changes to your funnel every 2 or 3 days, you wont even have a chance to see how it actually performs on random days.

I believe Moly Pittman @DigitalMarketer.com is a master at FB ads.

She runs successful ads without any modifications for around 30 days

Attached a sample ad she's been running on FB for 33 days straight.
