Mobile Follow along. Appetizer Style. Any Feedback Would Be Great!

Hello,
I will be trying to tackle mobile On decisive. I'll be taking the appetizer approach to get familiar with mobile and hope to reach profitability. Then go to the next steps (can talk more about that when profitable).

Tracking: CPV labs
Platform: Decisive
Network: F5 Media
Offer: Browser App
Country: Russia
Bid: $0.71 (smart CPM) 1.5 X payout

So let's get started. I chose a Russia browser offer that pays $0.47 and are direct linking with CPVlabs. I created about 10 banner ads. Definitely not a banner ad pro. But should get more familiar with it as time goes on.

My creative's have been approved and just activated them. Meanwhile I'll start to work on more banners and make them look a bit more professional. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Brian

edit: no traffic. So emailed support.. To see what the issue is, followed the appetizer write up.

results are trickling in after figuring out what was wrong. Looks like my banners suck pretty bad. Most clicks are on Wi-Fi connections.. Will update later

okay here are my stats so far.
spent $3.81
conversions 0
ROI -100%

I was bidding 1.5 X offer. I wasn't getting much traffic so I went above 2X offer. Bidding smart CPM $1.01. Granted the offer payout is only $0.47.. Here are my stats so far.

Okay so more data. After increasing the Bid I've gotten some more traffic. Not as much of that would like. I did increase my the max bid in smart CPM To $1.51. Traffic has picked up quite a bit. But could I be bidding too high? The offer pays $0.47.

Last night I got one conversion.
Total spend $6.07
Revenue $0.47
Lost $5.6

I did make a landing page in Muse. But it had horrible CTR. Less than 1%. I don't know if it is due to my host being in the US and offer in Russia. Should I try to do more than one country? Or stick with one until profitable

So I have switched back to direct linking with CPV labs.

just an update.
for the 19th I kept doing Russia. I had good CTR of my ads 1.3% or better. . (I didn't think it was very good CTR until I read more on the forums.)

But the landing pages were awful for CTR.. Less than 5%.. Couldn't get as much traffic as hoped and did raise the bid 3X payout.
Spend $5.95
conversions 0
profit $-5.95

January 20
so then I decided to try India with a similar web browsing offer. A lot of traffic, but not so great CTR.. Below 0.50 CTR
the campaign had better CTR on the landing pages 10%.
Spend. $7.43
1 conversion. $0.32
profit -$7.11

January 21
I created all new banners that I thought were very good.. Well the visitors didn't think so and the results were bad.. Below 0.50 CTR
Spend $19.39.
conversions 0
profit $-19.39

total spent
$50.92
revenue
$0.79
profit $-50.13.
Any feedback would be welcomed. Thanks guys.

learning CSS as mobile pages have to be small.. Adobe Muse or others just not going to cut it

You mention that you're hosting in the US and running Russian mobile. That's probably not helping your lander CTR - loading times on mobile are important.

I'd recommend either firing up a server much nearer to Russia (ideally in Russia) or putting your landers on a good CDN.

yeah I thought about it. Getting a host closer. I did sign up for cloud flare, free version and have that running.. I'll have to figure something out, but need to get my pages smaller regardless of host location. So kind of undecided. Any feedback would be great!
