I received the following in my e-mail today, 24 hours after making my first deposit and trying to get a campaign approved:
"I am contacting you back from ExoClick Customer Services.
So we can quickly get you up and running could you provide us with the following details? To reduce the costs to you to complete this request we will refund your Paypal payment within the next 2 working days.
1) Copy of your passport or your Identity document
2) To send a wire transfer of at least $500 and send us a copy of the bank receipt for the transfer.
PLEASE NOTE ANY DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE PAYMENT AND ACCOUNT DETAILS WILL MEAN WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT/CAMPAIGNS
3) The URL of your company website
4) The complete details about your company's activities.
Thank you for your co-operation, and we look forward to getting you started very soon."
Why would they do this, has anyone ever experienced this, and what did you do?
Thanks
My wife had some discussion with customer service when she opened her own account recently (most probably because she logs in from the same IP, or something like that). She also has sent some funds via paypal and they have responded that if they close account they will refund it. But after some clarification from her side it went ok, but she didn't have to send funds via wire, though.
I would reply and ask exoclick customer service for some clarification.
Exoclick is trying to become google adwords in adult advertising business. They treat all of their partners as an enemy.
