Any Affiliate Marketers in China??

I'm curious if there are any affiliate ,arketers in China??

What do you guys do with regard to VPN's and the Great Firewall?

I'm an American living in China at the moment and have four VPN's (three Chinese and one Western) but its a daily struggle as the VPN's are often spotty, unable to login, slow, etc. I have to use a VPN just to login into a lot of my networks, traffic sources, etc. Talk about frustrating!!!

I love the country (and will be marrying a lovely Chinese gal soon) but damn the internet restriction drives me insane!

i feel your pain.
actually, if you are using Mac OS, i have no idea, it happens to me all the time.
but if you are using windows system, it should be fine, PM me ur skype if you need the VPN which im using.

Yea. Using Mac + iPhone. Sometimes I have no issues; great download speed, everything is fine. Other times, I'm constantly switching from one VPN to the other. Ugh.

There are a lot of affiliates in China, just pretty underground.

I had no idea until we attended the Shenzhen conference. Lots of big affiliates killing mobile and diet there!

yea maybe you should try to switch to Windows or setup a L2TP VPN, i dont know how to setup one

Hi man,
I am an affiliate marketer here in China.
Everyday I am using the Vpns.
You can set up VPN by yourself.there is one step package for linux; and also ,you can use windows 2003 server or 2008,2012.

For linux:
1.wget http://www.lingdus.com/downloads/linux/vpn/pptpd.sh
2.sh pptpd.sh
3.vi /etc/ppp/chap-secret
4./etc/init.d/vsftpd start

I've been in Beijing for 5 years+ and doing AM for 4 of those years.
Astrill is rock solid for everyday use. HMA and some other popular options simply don't work. You can also try to roll your own, but i like the flexibility of astrill and its pretty damn cheap.

There are a lot of Chinese affiliates, but due to language barrier vast majority of them are not active in English affiliate communities.
Of course GFW is the pain in the ass. We are dealing with that everyday and we are somehow get used to it.
Astrill is widely used in China if you are looking for an easy solution.
