That's a lot of ups and down, your perseverance is inspirational. The fact that you kept going back losing/gaining money is amazing. Well deserved and hope you hit 6 figure months this year!

Very inspiring mate!

Affiliate marketing is like that, up and downs all the time.

The secret is not to get discouraged and keep going.

Now will be waiting for your $xxx, xxxx month

that's awesome man, here am still with my 40-50-60$ profit days after 6 months, I seem not be able to break that barrier, no matter what I do - it is really frustrating to the point where I think I can't do this, then I read story like yours and keeps me going..

well deserved!, congrats!

Those 1k days disappeared and I was losing money for the remaining 2 weeks at my job. Though I had about $15,000 at this point to put back into traffic it was still a very nerve-racking moment because I was actually losing money and had no job income to supplement that.

At this point I couldn’t go back so I just focused on what I could control which was continuing to launch new campaigns and test my landers.

The very week after I left my job I started to profit again (thank god!)

I can feel it must have taken a lot of courage and trust for yourself to push through these moments.
I wonder how you did it.
Was it your belief that system works or strong desire to succeed?

Thank you for sharing your story.
It really helps to know that you can do anything with hard work.

great to have a realistic post showing the up and downs of the industry, and how rewarding it can be if we hold out. this industry with its up and downs still proves itself alot better than many other brick and mortar businesses, even higher variability, and lower potential, lower speeds

You made me think "Even I can do this. Its possible". I have not started any paid traffic so far, procrastination is killing me. Let us see today at least I will launch a campaign after reading all the amazing success stories like yours.

Would love to get in touch with you all in STM Bangkok.

Congratulations, mate! You're a real inspiration for people who haven't seen any profit yet. What would you say was the biggest factor that helped you to become successful?

Working on some pretty big projects right now to end the year strong. Will give an update around December, maybe prior to Affiliate World

By far the biggest factor was partnering up w/ someone who compensated for all my weaknesses. It allowed me to focus on what I was good at which opened the doors for scaling and building much faster

Congratulations mate for your success! What an inspiration..

How did you settle the partnership agreement? Why don't you just hire a freelancer? I am facing this option as well and curious with your way of thinking

Looking forward to your post updates!

The ultimate goal with affiliate marketing or any business is to make a profit. Having said that, you have to do whatever it takes and sacrifice a lot of things to get there: time, money, work, effort, and in my case, profits.

Over the years I tried to go at it alone I learned a lot and my view now is never to project into the future what the ideal situation is. Would I like to have 100% of profits? Sure, who wouldn't. But I know I wouldn't be where I'm at if I hadn't had my partner to support and help me push through the beginning. Would I rather have a big piece of nothing or a smaller piece of a big pie? I'll take the latter every time.

When you're not making any money you really have no leverage, no right to be dictating how you want to do things...you should be doing whatever the fuck it takes to break through Because when you break through, even more opportunities open up for you. Affiliate networks, traffic sources, and super affiliates start respecting you and you may get special relationships, joint ventures, or exclusive deals out of it. If you're new and you're trying to get greedy/picky over what your ideal situation is then you're making a mistake. The only thing that matters at the noob stage is to get out of the noob stage and get that first profitable campaign

Now whether that's partnering up or doing it alone that's totally up to you.

I think one of the most important things to keep in mind is knowing your tendencies, weaknesses, and strengths.

Everybody has different preferences so for some people the solution would be hiring freelancers and managing them. For me (still to this day and for the foreseeable future) I much prefer to bring on a partner who can handle an aspect of the business I'm just not good at and would like to defer the responsibility to.

Hope this helps.

Affiliate Marketing is definitely a Marathon and not a Sprint.. Keep on going forward, keep moving and eventually things will get better.. There are very few affiliates who are lucky and find gold on the first try, for most is it a journey of ups and downs where some months go fantastic and some go terrible.

The importance is to keep faith, learn from your mistakes and get better.

For more motivation everybody should watch this movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuPLxQD4akQ -- it keeps me going!

Really inspiring. I am about to launch my first campaign today, and really hope to atleast hit $xxx figures a day by the end of 30 days. I'll be putting in 7-8 hours a day (since I have a full time job which pay $500/month).

Thanks a lot anarchy for the inspiration.

So I only skimmed everyones posts and did not see anyone mention that q4 (quarter 4) is a absolute bitch to profit it. ESP if you are in the nutra space (I did not read what space you were in) when q1 rolls around that roller coaster goes right back up to massive profit.

PM me if you ever want to chat about the massive roller coasters that this business creates and how you can pick diff offers in diff quarters to help get some consistency

That was a great read and it is like any business. Sometimes no clients one month then the next 50 or more. How was your profits that time Jason a?
