Can someone tell me how this is done w/ the information in the Decisive planner? I'm reviewing the tutorial on campaign math and I don't see how I can get this value.
I got an email from F5 w/ these instructions/suggestions:
Here is our top offer list - I suggest you filter for CPI [either under the converts column or the offer title column] - once you have this list, take a look at the geos and EPCs. Now go to your Mobile Ad Network, and take a look at their planner - take our epcs and multiply them by 1000 then minus the ad network ecpm price for the geo - if the result is positive , this could be a good offer to start with.
I've narrowed down their list to 5 offers
For example, one of them has a conversion rate of 4% and an epc of $.04
Seems like something silly to get hung up on, but here I am.

Thank you so much. Can I ask how you did the calculations. I thought I understood pretty well from the tutorial how to calculate ecpm, but I didn't think I had enough data to calculate it. I found the planner and the cpm for the geo.
Visits from Traffic source per 1000 Impr. (Assuming 1% CTR) = 1000 X 0.01 = 10 visits
Earnings per 1000 Impr. Assuming 1% CTR = EPC (Earnings Per click from F5media) X (Visits from Traffic source per 1000 Impr.)
Decisive Avg Cost Per 1000 Impr. in Geo/OS = Get Avg CPM from Decisive planner in the specific GEO and specific OS.
Estimated Profit per 1000 Impr. = (Decisive Avg Cost Per 1000 Impr. in Geo/OS) - (Earnings per 1000 Impr. Assuming 1% CTR)
Estimated ROI = ((Estimated Profit per 1000 Impr.)/(Decisive Avg Cost Per 1000 Impr. in Geo/OS)) X 100

Be aware this is just a very casual way to gauge for potential, but should by no means make you decide not to test something (unless it's ridiculous, e.g. offer is converting at $0.005 EPC and traffic has a $5 CPM.
