When is the time to up the Bids? (13)

When is the time to up the Bids?

Hi,

I'm running a campaign for 3 days so far with 1 LP + 5 Offers rotating.

Stats are so far:

4,233 Clicks and 70 Click Throughs so that's CTR of 1.65%
Only 4 conversions. EPC is 0.08.

Is that typical?

I just started optimizing my Landing Pages - will run 3 different LP's today and I paused most of my keywords and URL's (had 70 now down to about 30).

There is one URL that pushes 50% of the traffic. It gotten 1 conversion. Should I keep this one running or pause?

Not too clear where to go from here...

Thanks everyone!

Don't up the bids yet.

You need to work a lot harder on your LP aim for 15-20% CTR.

If you show you LP we can help improve it. It sounds as those there is a lot of room for improvement.

Thanks Mr. Green. I started with one landing page (variation1a)

Today I added a different one that has 3 variations (variation1b, variation2, and variation3): No traffic to these 3 new variations yet as it maxed out at $25 per day budget this morning since 5am. Strange how traffic always seem to start midnight to early morning around 7am.

Variation 1a

Variation 1b

And this is my serious design work took a while:
Variation 2:

Variation 3:

Thank you,

Danny

I also used afftools - URL scrapper and got about 50 URL's and used them. I removed all previous keywords and URLs that were not as targetted - I mean there were targetted URL's and keywords but also lots of broad ones that I think was draining my funds. Hope tomorrow I will see something better.

Wow I'm surprised my variation3 and 4 got 0 conversions today.

However, today is the highest I've made from the last 3 days just by a little - still -ROI but it's the biggest day so far.

This same URL seem to drain my clicks so I think I will pause this one and see what happens however all the conversion came from it. What to do.... And it's at lowest bid - ranked 5 but still it's taking all the clicks before any other Target was served.

Try more bells and whistles, count down timers, blinking, and try a Green submit button with a different text e.g. "Get Your iPhone 4 Now >>"

Be sure to split test And don't split test too many things at once

You need to test different things on your lander. With an email submit like this you need to get like over 20% easily ctr if you want to get paid good monies.

Why not try to rip the offer page and put a coreg path as the backend?

Okie dokie - taking all of your suggestions and trying it. I made buttons glow and some blink. I am testing about 4 LP's now and have total of 4 offers. I got about 6,000 views now. Do I have too many LP's and offers? When is the best time to pause offers and LP's? Thanks! Maybe this should move to newbie section =P

bbrock32 - Don't quite understand what "rip the offer page and put a corey path as the backend".... can you dummify that for me? Thanks

This is very interesting - so i changed my time to 6am to 11pm

For some reason my traffic stopped and i couldn't even login to the system to adjust the URL targets and day parting (hours).

Spent today was only $2.50. Way too less data to analyze my new LP's.

The new list of targetted URL's are just not getting enough traffic. Maybe I should up the bids? I see these URL's are bid pretty high from 0.07 to 0.4 the highest.

Anyhow, so yesterday I also researched my Demographic and found very intersting findings which lead me to choose these more Targetted URL's. Am I doing the right thing? Traffic slowed and bid numbers are high. Should I or is it wise to up the bids to get the data?

Thanks

The offers says no coreg. Just read your tutorial

Don't let this stop you from ripping an offer's LP if you think it would work well for you.. You can just rip it and setup your LP -> coreg path, and then at the end of your coreg path, if you have chosen to have the user redirected to your money URL, then send them to a slightly different email/zip offer that allows coreg.

Or you could just blank/set the referrer to a decoy URL/redirect URL between your the end of the coreg path and your final email offer

Thanks i ripped the Offer's LP yesterday and running it now. We'll see how it goes - already had a conversion and CTR is good so far.

Hmm the last part sounds complicated is there a tutorial on how the decoy works? So if we did a redirect, the network won't catch it? I'm with TV.
