Which is Better? Increase the Budget or Consistent Budget each day?

Hi guys,

I already saw good ROI on the offer that I promote in FB. I think it's time scale this shit XD
But, I confuse how to do this properly.

There are 2 options popped in my head :
A. Increase the budget (let's say $50-$100 per day), so the ad will be delivered to users as many as possible in a day.
or
B. Spend consistent budget per day ($5-$15 per day), so the ad also will be delivered consistently from day to day.

Which one do you think better?

If you want to scale I would go with the first option since you will be able to spend more.

With bigger budget, do you think day parting is necessary?

Honestly dont worry about day parting its not really important unless you have a limited budget and are running adult dating.

Increasing budget is great, you have to spend more to make more.

But I like to raise my budget slowly these days, especially if I'm on Facebook.

For example: If your budget is set at $100/day now and you decide to raise it to $250/day at noon, Facebook will ramp up volume and stick your ad in places it normally wouldn't have - just to spend your budget.

So if you're going to raise your budget, do it as late at night, or as early in the morning as you can. And then leave it alone for the day (or multiple days). If it keeps profiting, raise your budget again.

Good luck,
Malan

Thx for your suggestion man!

Bu, I heard from my friend, raising budget above $50 is also risky. If Facebook find out that you promote affiliate offer, you'll get banned. Is this true?

See my other post... this is hogwash.

There is no arbitrary $50/day danger zone and "affiliate offer" is far too vague a description.

Nah there are people spending 5 figures a day on FB so there exists no $50 threshold.

Just make sure you keep an eye on it so it won't end up losing when you up the budgets.

$50??? That is like 3 minutes of media spend on FB for some larger players running traffic ....

Increasing your ad spend is just one step in the scaling process.

I find it an art to scale (i.e. ramping up my budgets) and keep profiting at the same time. The problem is that when you ramp up your bids too high, it could be that your ad will be exposed several times to the same people. The frequency will in other words likely be higher.

If that's the case, especially when the demographic is a little bit narrow, this will probably decrease your CTR and increase your CPC and this could result in losing money..

So it's important to find the "natural balance" between your budget, your frequencies and your CTR/CPC metrics. This is my experience.
