This is more of a general question and I realize at the end of the day that you have to test and such... but I am curious to see what the experts in the Adult space think and have found. What works best... running campaigns for Adult on Mobile... or running it for Desktop?
Also as a bonus question - What GEO's tend to work for you outside of the US?
And if you can answer this one... you will be blessed with another 2 inches... what type of Aff offers and Aff Networks work best with Adult?

Both work and both make money. A while ago Mobile had significantly less competition than Desktop, but it has pretty much caught up by now imo.
really, I dont find much of a difference in terms of web vs mobile. mobile tends to convert slightly better, but also has slightly higher traffic prices.
mobile tends to be a bit more annoying to make landers.
but really... between the two there isnt much of a learning curve. deciding between web and mobile is generally made by what offers/traffic is available
for dating offers, there is about 30 countries with offers available with them. recently, a few have started seeing offers to them for the first time
aff offers,... ask your AM what is current and check out the weekly reports
biggest CPA networks with dating stuff would be ClickDealer, Adsimilis, Mundo, Advidi
Both WEB and Mobile have a very good variety of offers.
For me none if better than the other so it's up to you where to get started.
The only real difference would be coding the landers. Mobile generally takes a bit more effort for most coders.
Thanks guys... I'm good with the coding part as I own a Web Dev company... I just noticed a lot of offers for adult say NO MOBILE... which I don't really see that too much on other offers outside of Adult... and I have all those CPA networks but Advidi... haven't tried them yet. Has anyone heard of BlackFox? I saw them pop up on some offer digging sites.
They both work. It all boils down to the offer.
If it's a great mobile offer, then it has potential.
If it's a great web offer, then it also has potential.
Not a great offer? The fact that it's mobile or web won't make a difference.
I think most affiliates are pretty platform-neutral at this point.
They'll promote whatever is hot.
It makes sense that there's much more potential for the mobile market to grow, however.
And given that many users in developing countries only have a mobile device, you're more likely to reach them through a mobile campaign. That's where I'd expect most of the best offers to emerge in 2015.

Mobile is the industries favored choice these days which leads to some good bargaining on desktop traffic. I know, I have a lot of it and it's not as popular as it used to be. With that said, some large affiliates are making it work in their favor now by taking flat rate deals in bulk. Desktop traffic still delivers quality leads, you should always test both platforms. Just be careful not to enter into agreements for too many flat rate deals that don't have a solid GEO split in the countries you can convert, I have heard too many stories of people selling desktop traffic with a load of poor countries in their top 10 volume.
Finch... or anyone else... what do you consider a great offer? What are the characteristics of a great offer? I keep seeing that phrase "find a great offer" on the various threads but what is one?
