What are safe ads on Facebook these days?

Hey,

Fb keeps changing its guidelines and its difficult to keep up with them. I don't want to risk my account and hence want to know whether using celeb images (Hollywood/Sports) is allowed or not?

Also. Landing page would be a question or two when answered would redirect to an email submit for a prize. Is this venturing in to gray territory that would jeopardise my account?

No its not allowed unless you own the rights to the images.

Facebook's fundamental guidelines on ad content/destinations don't really change... or haven't for a while.

Celebs = no no, even if FB let's them slip through you can expect an eventual ad takedown due to an IP infringment request.

Email submits are also gray territory to venture into... 99.9% of them are either red on MyWoT, well-known to FB and will get disapproved the moment a system/person sees them, or will cause lots of user complaints.

You can put a dynamic LP in front of anything and get it approved, usually, but if it's not compliant and causes user complaints it's just a ticking time bomb. The user complaints are the one thing you can't mitigate easily.

Gaming with direct download or LP is safe.

How about pin submit?

PIN submits are even worse!

Come on... just think about user experience. If you signed up for one of the offers, would you be pissed off about the aftermath? If so, then it's not kosher to run on Facebook.
