So I have 2 identical campaigns on Decisive. One targetss App -Telcel Traffic, the other one Site-Telcel Traffic as my offer only accepts the carrier Telcel. I set the CPA Goal to 1.5*3.20 = 4.8. Budget to unlimited and daily limit to $15 for each campaign. I just checked Decisive and realized that I only spent like $4 yesterday for those 2 campaigns (each $1). Therefore I didn't get much traffic as well. What could be the reason for that?
1) Make sure you have >$50 in your accounts.
2) Bid higher.
3) Change to manual CPM. Bid higher. Report back.
A lot of people see this kind of behaviour. Either your targeting is too tight and there is not enough volume, or you are not bidding high enough amongst your competition. Smart CPM is not a direct CPM bid so it's also possible that the system isn't being aggressive enough, at least to your expectations based on the CPA goal.
Like most things in affiliate marketing... do some tests/experiments and see what happens.
