I have a 4 year old fake FB account which i just started using again after 3 years. I had about $1000 in ad spend before. So far rebills are running fine. I fear ban may be inevitable as I'm deleting scores of negative comments on my ads and filtering words like "scam" and such. I'm thinking of creating a new account and warming it up.
My question is: Can I create a new fb account with the same ip and use the same credit card (mastercard) or perhaps a different credit card (AMEX) with the same name? Will my new account be banned as well when this one is banned?
Making multiple FB accounts and running things like rebills is hard, so assume the worst: that eventually (very soon...) your current account will get banned and the other one will go down in flames minutes later. I mean, come on, you make it pretty easy for FB if you link them so obviously...
I went through a bunch of posts on how to create facebook accounts. I don't feel comfortable buying accounts but rather creating new. For that I need new ips either from my ISP or vps server setup. Is it safe to get a vps for a popular host?
I understand these things can't be discussed openly, so please pm me.
Look, you really need to approach this less haphazardly.
I can't provide detailed info since I don't really have it, but I can say that
a) joining a very random (unprofessional looking) proxy service - where the IPs are not even private but used by any John Doe on the planet,
b) then logging into Facebook,
c) making a fan page,
d) adding a CC and
e) creating an advert
All within the space of a few days, is a tragically naive way to just burn that credit card and account.
You should stop and brainstorm about this process much harder.
Think about how you can physically and virtually sandbox your attempts from each other, then try again. If you are not going to put due diligence into this it will simply flop and you will waste time, effort and potentially money - to no avail.
I don't make multiple accounts. But if I did, I wouldn't "just throw stuff at FB and see what works". I would plan meticulously as if being caught could lose me my job.
