Hey guys
So I want to run an app offer for "Du mobile browser" but can't seem to think of a way to make the LP or what instructions I should give to a developer in regards to ad copy. Any ideas on how I should start off?
Also any easy Landing Page builders for mobile? What about Unbounce, has anyone ever used it?
There is a great guide on here that caurmen did that will help you understand the basics. There are also a bunch of threads discussing best practices etc.
Personally, I like to keep the landers super lightweight (under 25kb) as I target countries with slow internet a lot of the time. This is not a hard and fast rule by any means and people have had profitable campaigns with much heavier landers. Try to get the guy making it to only use CSS,HTML+Images if you can. The less frameworks the better.
You are not going to get very far without learning HTML and CSS (even if you are going to outsource). I would suggest Codeacademy, Lynda, Tuts+ and onemonthHTML for learning that.
Thanks
Yeah I'll learn those first, seems I'll need it big time.
You want to write the ad copy yourself. This is your job, since you are the marketer
I suggest writing a couple different "angles" of ad copy. There's a bunch of threads explaining angles, but in short its the way you pitch the sale of the offer. AKA: WHY the user should install DU Browser.
Then test 3-4 types of copy and get back to the drawing board once you find a winner and make that winner better.
For mobile landers unfortunately there's no 'best' builder out there yet, the best landers are always hand-coded.
Follow the tutorial by Caurmen and you'll be on your way! http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...With-Any-Phone
Or hire a designer of course :-P
And there's always ripping what you see in the wild and editing it - even if just to use the layout.
