hello guys i have had a few issues with exoclick, how did u resolve it?
1. campaign rejected due to bids too low, i checked and clearly its above the minimum bid. they send me a screen shot and say please bid competitively, it seems like they want me to bid the maximum bid or higher or my campaign remains rejected? this happens about 3-5% of the time.
2. campaign rejected due to malware. obviously i dont have malware, but i think they may not like the css bar animation? i remember a few campaigns that was rejected because of that.
3. paused campaigns does not seem to get approved? the campaign must be running before it gets approved, anyway around this?
4. traffic is uneven, though i uploaded 10 banners together, there are banners getting 200k traffic and banners getting 20k traffic.
1. they usually say bids/cap is too low. typically what I do is I start off with 1/24 cap and minimum bid until it gets approved. then adjust accordingly. if I get rejected for this reason, then I just watch it like a hawk
2. never seen that before. maybe one of your domains for flagged?
3. yeah they don't approve paused campaigns. the benefit of exoclick is they have 24/7 approval times and it rarely takes more than an hour for something to be reviewed. just watch it like a hawk
4. traffic distribution across banners is always uneven for the first..... 12 hours? set your bid/cap low, with it running. after 12 hours or so, then start bidding aggressively. your banners will be even
If you want to get a paused campaign approved, you need to contact support via their ticket system, then they will approve even paused campaigns. The best is to unpause straight away tho, set a small budget and minimum bid and then adjust as needed as angryoldlady suggested.
As for the uneven distribution, yup thats something that you need to learn to live with when using exo, usually it evens up but I have seen cases where it simply kept on pushing some banners more than the others without any logical explanation.
As for the paused Campaign to get aproved, just enter a "Ad Schedule" f.e. 1hr on Sundays. This way it'll get aproved without running straight away.
2) Make sure that your offer isn't being geo redirected to a catch-all offer by the CPA network. This happened to me because exoclick was loading the offer from the wrong geo.
3&4) Yup. That's exoclick.
thanks guys, this is all really helpful. =D
