I got this question after reading zeno's post on DNS setup: it seems rackspace offers cloud DNS (www.rackspace.com/cloud/dns)
has anyone compared this to nsone.net, which zeno recommended in his post? which one is better, or they're both good and doesn't really matter? thanks!
Don't worry about this. DNS timings have a relatively small impact on your tracking/page load speeds.
Worry about this when you have the volume, infrastructure and testing suite available to actually assess a difference.
NSOne is more powerful than Rackspace Cloud DNS and I would argue they are better, but then they are also more expensive and difficult to use if you don't understand DNS well.
This article is old but gold:

Yep that's a great article.
The only thing in it that I would ignore is the worst-in-class results for Akamai... I don't see that being the case considering they in most cases have a more widely developed infrastructure and more PoPs than any other company.
