Im abit confused on setting up tracking for this particular system ... can someone help pls ? Thank you in advance!!

Step 1: Set your affiliate link as follows:

Step 2: Set your PostBack as follows:

Step 3: Set up your Voluum tracking source as follows:

External ID - used to track conversions
Parameter: urid
Placeholder: [:_jv_urid:]

Custom Variable 1 - used to track the App that generated the conversion
Parameter: AppID
Placeholder: [:_mm_apid:]

Your tracking link will look like this: http://www.VOLUUMLOL.com/364634634643?AppId=[:_mm_apid:]&urid=[:_jv_urid:]

Step 4: Generate your Goal ID in Millennial Media

Once you've done that go to Millennial Media: for each individual campaign, you will need to generate a Goal ID. In the edit/create campaign menu, click the "Generate" button next to Serve to Serve tracking checkbox. Let's say it gave you the magic number 44445

Step 5: Override the Postback at the campaign level in Voluum

Take this number back to Voluum and click to Edit the campaign you've already created. Now, click the "Advanced" tab and override your PostBack URL to add in the Goal ID and the External ID. Your MM Postback will look like this: http://cvt.mydas.mobi/handleConversion?goalid=44445&urid={externalid} - notice the number 44445 (or what ever number you have generated).

You will need to generate a Goal ID for each MM campaign. You will then need to manually edit the postback URL in voluum for each campaign to include the custom Goal ID. This is because the Goal IDs are unique to the campaigns.

This will post conversions back to MM.
